Your tap water has a secret

Municipal water meets minimum safety standards — but minimum isn't the same as clean. Here's what filtered water actually does for your family.

🧪

Hidden contaminants

Chlorine, lead, PFAS, and pharmaceutical residues are common in treated municipal water — legally present, but with real health implications over time.

💰

Save on bottled water

The average family spends $1,200+ per year on bottled water. A whole-home system pays for itself and eliminates the plastic waste.

🛁

Better skin & hair

Hard water and chlorine damage skin and hair over time. Filtered soft water makes a noticeable difference you'll feel after your first shower.

🍳

Food & coffee taste better

Your cooking water, coffee, and ice are only as good as the water you start with. Pure water transforms the flavor of everything you make.

Find the right fit for your home

From targeted under-sink units to whole-home solutions, we have a system for every need and budget.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before you buy.

Most under-sink RO systems take 2–3 hours. Whole-home systems typically take a half day (4–6 hours). We work cleanly and leave no mess behind.
Pre-filters (sediment and carbon) typically need replacing every 6–12 months. RO membranes last 2–3 years. We offer annual maintenance plans so you never have to think about it.
When correctly sized for your home, a whole-home system causes no noticeable pressure drop. We always verify flow rates during our site assessment to ensure perfect performance.
Yes — we partner with financing providers to offer 0% APR options on qualifying systems. Ask us about payment plans when you request your quote.
Our on-site water test checks for hardness, chlorine, iron, pH, TDS (total dissolved solids), and bacterial presence. You'll receive a written report and a no-pressure system recommendation based on the results.

About us

We believe every family deserves clean water

High Quality H₂O Systems was built by homeowners who were frustrated with the same thing you might be — tap water that tasted off, left stains, and came with a long list of unknowns. We set out to fix that.

Started locally. Still local.

We started in Austin, TX, installing systems for neighbors and friends. Word spread because we did things right — proper water testing, honest recommendations, clean installs, and real follow-up support.

Today we have served 500+ homes across Central Texas, but our approach has not changed. Every job gets the same care as our first one.

We are not a call center or a national chain. When you call us, you talk to the people who will actually show up at your door.

If a simple filter fixes your problem, that is what we will tell you. We would rather earn your trust than a bigger sale.

🔧

Clean installs

Our technicians work neatly, explain everything as they go, and leave your home exactly as they found it.

📞

Long-term support

We are here after the install too — filter reminders, annual checkups, and real humans when you call.

The Fly Ash Pool Crisis (2017–2023)

Between 2017 and 2023, thousands of pools across Texas and the U.S. were built using fly ash — a coal combustion byproduct — as a cheap addite in pool shell materials (gunite, shotcrete, and plaster). What many homeowners were never told is that fly ash contains dangerous levels of toxic heavy metals and known carcinogens.

Toxic substances found in fly ash pools include:

  • Arsenic — a known human carcinogen linked to skin, lung, and bladder cancer
  • Lead — causes neurological damage, especially dangerous for children
  • Mercury — toxic to the nervous system, kidneys, and immune system
  • Cadmium — linked to kidney disease and bone damage
  • Chromium VI — a potent carcinogen that leaches into pool water
  • Selenium, Barium, and Radium — additional toxic compounds found in coal ash

These toxins can leach directly into pool water over time, especially as the pool surface degrades. Families — including children — have been swimming in water contaminated with carcinogens without knowing it.

Lawsuits & Legal Action

Multiple class-action lawsuits have been filed against pool builders who used fly ash without disclosing the health risks to homeowners. Courts have found that:

  • Builders knowingly used fly ash to cut costs by 15–30%
  • Homeowners were never informed of the materials used
  • Fly ash pools degrade faster, causing surface cracking and pop-outs
  • The EPA classifies coal ash as containing hazardous materials
  • Affected homeowners may be entitled to compensation for removal and replacement

How We Can Help

If your pool was built between 2017 and 2023, it may contain fly ash. We offer:

  • Pool water testing for heavy metals and carcinogens
  • Complete pool removal — safe demolition and disposal of contaminated materials
  • Pool rebuild with safe, fly-ash-free materials
  • Saltwater conversion — eliminate chlorine chemicals entirely
  • Documentation support for legal claims and insurance

Get your pool tested today

If your pool was built between 2017 and 2023, don't wait. We can test your pool water for heavy metals and help you understand your options — whether that's removal, resurfacing, or a full saltwater conversion.
